When New York meets Paris...
Taylor and François' iconic love story brought two people from two faraway cities together. Taylor, from New York City, and François, a Paris native, met and fell in love. Their spring Paris wedding celebration brought together two cultures, two families, on the perfect Paris spring day - in the place where they are building their next chapter.
Taylor and François got married at the Mairie where Francois' parents had their ceremony decades prior. So the city hall had a very special meaning to both T&F, as well as their families. Their loved ones travelled from far and wide to celebrate with this beautiful couple - family, friends, all the way from the US, the UK, and other parts of France and Europe were all in one place for such a joyous occasion.
T&F's inspiration for their Paris wedding photos was photos that didn't feel posed, or cheesy. They loved photos that felt cinematic, documentary-style and also a film photography forward approach.
Girl time... getting ready at the Hôtel de Crillon
On the morning of Taylor and François' wedding, all the girls were gathered together getting their hair and makeup done at the Hôtel de Crillon. Music was blasting, croissants, coffee, snacks were all in the air as the girls got glammed up and enjoyed their special time together before the big day. There were both sweet, quiet moments - like Taylor writing a sweet letter for François... and the mother daughter moment as Taylor had her mom's helping putting on her wedding ensemble. But also the vibrant moments of Taylor dancing with her nieces (who adored her!) and tell them about the songs that were iconic back in the day, and reminiscing about fun sisterly stories.
In the quiet back courtyard of the Hôtel de Crillon, it was so beautiful to witness Taylor' special moment with her dad and brothers before heading off to the ceremony. Lots of laughs and some tears were exchanged as they saw Taylor as a bride, for the first time.
Ceremony time...
The beautiful Mairie for their Paris wedding was decorated all over with ornate paintings, moulding, and striking velvet chairs. Their guests arrived, beaming with excitement. Both of their families listening intently to their romantic love story, and joy and love erupting all over the room as they made it official. Officially married in Paris - the place where their love story officially started, and where the next chapter of their love story is ready to begin...
That 'just married' feeling...
Taylor and François walked out of the city hall - beaming from ear to ear. It was a gorgeous, sunny day, and all their sweet family was eager to celebrate the newly married couple. They were smiling from ear to ear - surrounded by all the people nearest and dearest to them. The newlyweds looked so cinematic as they headed off in a vintage car to their wedding lunch celebrations.
Time to celebrate!
Taylor and François had a stunning wedding celebration at the rooftop of Laurent. With drinks flowing, sun shining, and a beautiful atmosphere, Taylor and François' were spending some quality time with their loved ones in high spirits, with the stressful part now behind them. What a beautiful, intimate celebration for Taylor and François to celebrate their love story with their loved ones who all joined them in Paris for an intimate wedding celebration.
