EDITORIAL, CINEMATIC & FILM WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER IN PARIS

As a Paris wedding photographer specializing in luxury weddings and elopements in Paris, I create images that blend editorial sophistication, cinematic energy, and the timeless depth of film.

Your wedding in Paris is more than a destination—it’s an experience. And if you are wanting to get married here, you probably already know that. Paris has the grandeur of the Ritz Paris to a sunrise vow exchange along the Seine or in the Tuileries. Your Paris wedding deserves to be documented to reflect the same artistry as a fashion editorial and the intimacy of authentic storytelling, as heirloom images for you to look back on when you think of this special day.

My cinematic & editorial approach to Paris wedding photography

01.

FILM DIGITAL HYBRID

I shoot both 35mm and medium format film and digital for heirlooms that feel timeless yet precise. Digital gives us agility, speed, and reliability. But film gives us those creamy, fashion and editorial inspiration warm tones that we love. I love the complementary nature of both mediums. Film really shines in direct sunlight to capture the dramatic shadows and layers of detail.

02.

FASHION INFLUENCE

As an avid consumer of fashion, occasionally shooting and attending Paris Fashion Week, and growing up with a mom that worked in fashion, my photographs are styled with a couture eye, inspired by editorial photography.

03.

CINEMATIC & AUTHENTIC STORYTELLING

Beyond portraits, I seek the in-betweens: laughter between toasts, silk dresses caught in motion, the quiet glance before the kiss. I also love the creative use of light, natural, shadowed, and direct flash, depending on the shot. That means you get wedding frames that feel alive.

04.

LUXURY EXPERIENCE

No lengthy forms or calls, I am an efficient communicator and can understand and align on your vision quickly. To delivery or your wedding photos within 4 weeks. For couples who traveling to Paris for the wedding of their dreams, you don't want to worry about delays and communications with your photographer.

What makes working with Bonnie different?

Working with me is more than hiring a photographer; it is stepping into a collaboration where your love story is treated like art. My approach is cinematic and editorial, designed for couples who want their wedding to feel as bold and fashion-forward as it is intimate and true. An editorial eye, but with a passion for authenticity for storytelling. I bring the craft of both film and digital photography, blending the luminous depth of 35mm and medium format film with the precision of modern digital to create a layered narrative that feels timeless yet fresh. I bring the ability for quickly understanding what couples want, even before you fully have the words to describe it, and aligning with their vision so the process feels both effortless and seamless.

Photography is not just my profession, it is almost like an inheritance. My mother built her career in fashion, which gave me an eye for style, detail, and the elegance of how clothing moves. My father once worked in weddings, which taught me how deeply these moments matter and how important it is to preserve them with care. Before turning to photography full-time, I built a career in high-level professional services where precision, discretion, and flawless execution were non-negotiable. My background means I bring not only creativity, but also structure and expertise to every wedding I photograph. Just as importantly, my personality is equal parts calm and warm. I know how to make couples feel at ease in front of the camera, how to step in with direction when needed, and how to melt into the background when the moment calls for quiet observation.

What distinguishes my Paris photography work is the balance: striking, high-gloss portraits that carry the energy of a Vogue editorial, paired with the unscripted in-between moments that reveal the soul of your connection. Beyond the images themselves, I create a seamless, luxury-level experience tailored for couples planning from abroad. I guide you through light, locations, and timelines with calm expertise so that when the day arrives, you feel free to live it fully, knowing every detail is being seen and preserved.

THE PERFECT SETTING

Paris wedding venues and settings I love

From smaller elopement celebrations, to grandiose Parisian celebrations, finding the perfect setting for you is incredibly important in setting the tone for your special day, and the backdrop of your stunning wedding images.

Palais Royale & Tuileries Gardens - A juxtapostion between minimal Parisian architecture and lush greenery. The colors of the flowers, fountains, and hedges in the garden contrast against the stunning backdrop of the Louvre behind it. Unlike some other gardens, Tuileries has flowers all year round, making it perfect for any time of year.

Ritz Paris - For celebrations ranging from a small elopement to a bigger wedding, the Ritz Paris has stunning options that give you the timeless Parisian design with an editorial edge.

Hotel Particulier Montmartre - Nestled away in romantic Montmartre, this venue feels like walking into a secret garden, with vintage detail. But still with the velvet notes, iconic burgundy seats, and gorgeous Parisian design. Perfect for both small intimate elopements and bigger celebrations.

Laurent Paris - A stunning location with its private terrace and ornately decorated interior. Perfect for the mix of Parisian terrace but also with old school Parisian glam, and of course, amazing food.

Peninsula Paris (secret rooftop) - Perfect for elopements or small celebrations, the Peninsula Paris' secret rooftop gives you a complete view of the Eiffel Tower with the privacy of your own space paired with the ambience of the city.

Private Seine Cruise - For an evening / nighttime celebration. It is a stunning and unique perspective to see Paris from the water. The city lights reflected in the water, cruising along as the Eiffel Tower sparkles at dusk, pure cinematic romance.

Timing is everything...

Many couples choose to handle legal formalities at home, then celebrate symbolically in Paris. This creates space for a Paris wedding that feels effortless, personal, and deeply romantic.

These are my favourite times of day to photograph, for the best light. Depending on your day and vision, I will create a structure that incorporates these well to ensure the best light and experience.

  • A serene Sunrise ceremony as you wander through the city before it wakes up
  • Golden hour portraits for luminous film imagery
  • Late-night editorial flash for bold, fashion-forward frames
  • Quiet interludes where you simply get to be yourselves in the city of love

Frequently asked questions

How many hours will we need for photography?

For elopements (just the two of you), I'd recommend 4-5 hours. For larger celebrations and weddings, anywhere from 6-10 hours, depending on the flow of your day, number of guests, and your vision.

The longer we have, the more chance we have to capture spontaneity and true storytelling moments.

Do we need to be legally married in France?

It is common for international couples to legally marry at home (either before or after) and just have a symbolic ceremony or elopement in Paris to avoid paperwork.

What are your rates and packages?

My elopement packages (from three hours of coverage) start at €2400. For weddings and larger celebrations, six hour coverage begins at €4800.

It's our first time being in front of the camera, and we're nervous...

That's entirely normal. Most couples I photograph feel the exact same way. My number one priority is to ensure my clients feel relaxed, calm, and at ease. I'll guide you throughout to help you both look and feel your best, but the photos will still feel "like you." Longer sessions also give us a bit more time to warm-up to be as natural as possible!

What is the booking process and timeline?

I take inquiries through my website. Once I receive your inquiry, I will respond within 72 hours. I reach out to you with more info and to learn more about your celebration. Once we are both aligned on your moodboard / vision, I will make recommendations on location, styling, and vendors, as needed.

To secure your booking, I require a 30% deposit, payable via credit card.

I typically recommend booking your wedding day with me between 6-12 months out.
