A Parisian farewell through film Portraits
As a Paris photographer, some shoots leave a lasting impression, and my morning with Yeseul was one of those. She wanted something authentic and beautiful—an opportunity to romanticize Paris and celebrate the end of a chapter in her life, all through the lens of Paris film photography with a vintage aesthetic.
We started at her favorite coffee shop, a quiet spot tucked in the heart of Paris. The soft, warm light filtering through the windows was perfect for her to enjoy her coffee and reflect. I captured these candid moments on film—relaxed, sipping her drink, lost in thought. The café, simple and calm, was an ideal place to begin her journey through Paris, with each shot of Paris film photography highlighting the quiet beauty of the everyday. The vintage vibe of the location perfectly complemented the vintage aesthetic we were going for, giving the images a timeless, classic feel.
Next, we visited a flower market, where she picked out a bouquet for herself. Watching her choose the flowers felt significant—an act of celebrating herself as she prepared for the next chapter. The colors and textures of the flowers, along with her thoughtful expression, were beautifully captured on film, a moment of self-love and appreciation. It was another perfect opportunity for a Paris photographer to create something memorable with Paris film photography, capturing the essence of a high-end photoshoot with simple, yet elegant moments.
We wrapped up our Paris film photoshoot morning at the Luxembourg Gardens, one of the most picturesque photo locations in Paris. As the sun rose higher, the gardens were bathed in golden light, providing the perfect backdrop, as Yeseul reflected on her time in the city. This serene spot was the perfect setting for one last set of shots—again, all captured in the timeless style of Paris film photography, adding to the vintage aesthetic we were aiming for throughout the shoot. Yeseul wanted a Paris film photoshoot because she wanted to be able to capture a beautiful rawness and authenticity when she looked back on her time living in Paris. This shoot wasn’t about perfection, similar to film photography—it was about finding beauty in the quiet moments and capturing the beauty that already exists. As a Paris film photographer, I love intentionally creating beautiful and memorable portraits that make you feel like you remember the moment, just by looking at them.
Once we got the film developed, Yeseul was thrilled with the results of her Paris film photoshoot. The film photography turned out stunning—each image telling a unique story, each shot a true work of art. It was exactly the whimsical, high-end Paris photoshoot experience she envisioned, beautifully captured through a film photography session in the best photoshoot locations in the heart of Paris.
